Breakfast

Did everyone take the time to eat breakfast? If you didn't, what's stopping you from doing so? Breakfast is the most important meal, even if you just have an apple in the morning, or a piece of toast, you will jump start your metabolism for the day.

I had oatmeal this morning and a cup of tea...still not feeling well, so I thought that would at least settle well on my stomach. I have some strawberries to eat in the next 1/2 hour or so.

I had oatmeal as well and a cup of coffee. Working on my first water of the day.

Oatmeal seems to be the breakfast of choice! I had oatmeal this morning too, I made the stovetop oats and put some dried cherries in it. It was a little hard to give up my brown sugar, but I did okay with a little sweetness from the cherries. It was hard to look over at Dave eating his with brown sugar in it though, I have to admit.

I miss my brown sugar as well, but I keep a shaker of cinnamon in my desk and that seems to help....at least a little bit.

I don't know how anyone can eat hot cereal -- barf, barf! I usually eat a bagel with light butter in the car on the way to work. I also brought some fruit, but I think I will save for my afternoon snack -- that seems to be when I need it most. Will have progresso soup again for lunch -- I just finished my third glass of water -- my big goal will be 8 for the day!

Mom, I don't know how you don't like oats...they are delicious! My goal by the end of this will be to get you to like oats....I'll sneak them in somewhere! =) I will probably fail at this though =)
